Contestant "A" - Joe Duck
Contestant "A" is the first duck. He represents your "everyday - average Joe Duck". Not to be confused with Joe the Plumber.
Actually, this duck is interesting because he has a calming personality. He is like a mentor or grandfather to the other ducks. In fact, if he were a geyser, he would be named "Old Faithful Duck".
You may be asking yourself why an old, average duck like this would be in a duck race, and the answer is that we have given him a headstart because he is a little slow. Although, every time we read the book, "The Tortoise and the Hare", the tortoise always wins. Maybe Contestant "A" will be like a tortoise and will win this time … ?
