SendaDuck™ Greetings 
started out the same way many creative businesses start out — as a “crazy” idea in a college dorm room. With the encouragement of friends and family, following through with the idea was easy. The hard part has been keeping up with the growth! Over the last 3 years it has grown to be more popular
than ever expected. The orders received through SendaDuck.com have sent ducks to every state in the country in over 750 cities. Our ducks have also flown overseas to encourage our troops.
OUR BUSINESS
There are many different rubber duck companies out there with a variety of different ducks featuring unique looks. We love those ducks, but here we stick with one version of a rubber duck: it is yellow (of course), has pretty eyes, an orange bill, and is three inches in diameter. It's the duck that looks the best, is just the right size, and has proven itself through its survival of many journeys through the mail system. What makes our ducks special is the ability to 1) add a custom message, 2) add colorful ribbons and other accessories and 3) THE BIG ONE: There is no packaging! Our ducks arrive in the mailbox with nothing but a stamp, label and a ducky greeting. We are the only company doing this with rubber ducks and we are certainly the best :)
OUR CUSTOMERS
While we fancy ourselves to be creative types, it is our customers who really understand the realm of possibilities. We have had many custom orders with specialty ribbons for all occasions. Some of these special events include Baby Shower invites, First Date gifts, Birthday greetings, Baby’s First Ducky and Housewarming gifts. Some of the most inspiring ducks are those sent with Get Well Soon wishes, especially those sent to children's hospitals. Some of our ducks even get sent addressed to the family pet.
Many of our customers originally received a duck from a loved one and have sent one or more to their friends and family. Customers frequently return to send more ducks which helps us spread the word about our unique product offering. In order to encourage and reward our returning customers, we offer a Ducky Dozen Rewards program which gives a free duck to anyone who sends out 12 or more ducky greetings.
OUR VISION
We plan to continue sending ducks for as long as we can. Our surveys reveal that people genuinely appreciate receiving a ducky greeting. All the positive feedback is what keeps our jobs fun. It's what keeps us getting up early, heading out to the "duck barn", to tie small ribbon bows and glue labels each and every morning.
